HABITAT is here, and it's huge in every sense of the word.
Apart from the fact it is by far our largest pack to date with over 185 submissions, it is the first time Depthcore has done a proper study on a theme. This in itself is a huge step, as we move away from abstract expressionism, and begin to focus on creating with a strong concept in mind.
In this pack, we endeavour to portray our interpretations of our own personal habitat's, our physical, mental, political and social environments. The results are eclectic and unique to say the least, and I for one am very excited by the ideas and themes we have graphically expressed.
HABITAT is yet another step towards our collective goal of advancing the abstract and digital art genre, and we are very proud of it, as intrigued by the possibilities it presents as the potential it hints at. In a very real way, depthCORE is still in it's infancy, and we have such a long way to grow, a fact that in itself is very exciting.
To use a tired clichè, we hope you enjoy experiencing HABITAT as much as we enjoyed creating it, because it was an absolute blast.
