Depthcore XVII - Freestyle

Posted On: Monday, February 21, 2005
Welcome to the rebirth of Depthcore. Today is one of the proudest days in Depthcore history, as we proudly unveil the smooth, sleek and sexy Version 5 of our site and unleash the convention smashing, eye popping, low riding, ass shaking, bass pumping beast of a pack that is known only as FREESTYLE.

Firstly, Version 5. As many of you know, v5 is long overdue. School, university, work, girlfriends and various mental health related issues have all stood in it's way. However, we have overcome and I think you will agree, triumphed, with what is undoubtably the slickest layout we have had yet, and the highest quality pack to date.

Huge thanks must be extended to Brian Smith for his immense sacrifice and wonderful contribution to the development and implementation of Version 5. Some say that I run this show, but without him there would be no show to run, and we would all be left with a lot of wonderful art and nowhere to showcase it. If the members are the flesh, and I am the heart, Brian is the brain, and we are all in his debt.

Other thanks are due to Kevin Stacey for his ongoing help, support and general ass-kicking behaviour. Much love as usual to Tony Graf for his awesome flash work, we just wouldn't be as slick without him!

On to FREESTYLE! Apart from being absolutely huge (well over 200 submissions), FREESTYLE is without doubt the members pack of choice. Submissions are from a wide variety of styles, and include some of the most jaw dropping abstract work I have seen in a long time.

We are proud beyond explanation to present FREESTYLE to you. It's been one of the most fun packs ever to produce, and we genuinely hope you enjoy it.

Lots of love to all of you, thankyou for your continued support.
